Sometimes, the challenges of living with a disability can seem overwhelming. The feelings of frustration and isolation that often come with disability can make it hard to cope. We provide you with a safe, confidential space to talk about what you really think and feel – no judgement. Knowing you’re talking to someone who understands can be incredibly liberating. We have a person-centered approach, which means we understand everybody is unique. We work with you to develop effective coping strategies so you can make positive changes in your life.

Speech Therapy
Our trained speech pathologists can help you improve your present communication abilities, manage a chronic disease, or increase your ability to swallow and drink. Speech pathology can help you gain confidence and improve your communication.
Occupational Therapy
- Our occupational therapists analyse their clients' skills, talents, and challenges in carrying out their daily tasks (being a student, friend, son or daughter). Self-care skills, poor visual perception, coordination, and fine and gross motor impairments are all possibilities.
- Following an evaluation, we can direct the client and their family to the most successful therapeutic approach for their specific needs.
- Our therapists also work on building specific abilities that our clients require in order to execute daily tasks, such as;
- Postural control, body awareness, timing, and motor abilities are all aspects of postural control.
- Handwriting, self-care, and the use of utilitarian instruments all need fine motor coordination.
- Interactions in the home and community require play skills and social awareness/engagement.
- To increase reading, motor abilities, and class involvement, oculomotor and vestibular skills are used.
- Oral motor skills and tolerance for a wide range of flavours and textures are important. Supporting autonomic function improves co-regulation, self-regulation, and social engagement skills.
- If required, We make changes to the environment (modifications) to achieve the optimum fit between an individual's talents, challenges, and the tasks they need or want to complete.
